KENNETT SQUARE - More than 900 local residents received the COVID-19 vaccine during a clinic on Saturday at the Kennett Area High School.
The clinic was hosted by State Rep. Craig Williams (R-Chester) and Kennett Square Mayor Matt
Fetick. The vaccines were administered by the Family Wellness Pharmacy in Boothwyn. More than 50 Volunteers from the community assisted with the clinic, including Longwood and Kennett fire departments, medical personnel, Kennett High School students and staff, and local residents.
“This is a tremendous service for the people of our community, and I am proud to host this event
with Mayor Fetick and the Wellness Family Pharmacy,” Williams said. “With a collaborative community effort like this, we can see the light at the end of the tunnel. I will continue to work tirelessly until we are on the other side of this pandemic.”
“I am so proud of our partnership with Rep. Williams and the Wellness Family Pharmacy, as we
have brought much needed vaccine relief to our Kennett community.” Fetick said. “The outpouring of support from our volunteers clearly demonstrates the commitment we have to one another.”
