A Year of Results for the 160th District
As 2025 ends, I want to share a brief snapshot of what our office delivered for the 160th District this year.
Working with colleagues in the General Assembly, we enacted two laws to support military personnel and their families. Appointments to the National Conference of State Legislatures’ Military and Veterans Affairs Task Force and the Executive Committee of the National Council on Electricity Policy ensure the district has a voice on critical national policy discussions.
Constituent service remained a daily priority. My staff filed 96 veterans’ service claims and opened and closed 4,033 constituent case files. The office handled 106 PennDOT cases, assisted seniors in securing 274 SEPTA cards, and completed 78 rent and property tax rebate applications.
Community engagement continued throughout the year. The office hosted or attended 21 community events and presented 21 commemorative citations. We spoke with hundreds of residents during five senior scam prevention seminars held in junction with the Attorney General’s Office and engaged dozens more through legislative roundtables where my office fielded the questions that matter to you.
We worked hard every day to deliver results for the 160th District. I look forward to continuing that work in 2026.

Monroe Energy Update
As you know, a few weeks ago I relayed information from Monroe Energy (when I learned it) about a gasoline leak on their storage facility. At the time - I was told - the soil samples indicated a presence of their product on their property. Between December 22nd and December 24th, we have learned that the latest soil samples reveal a much larger problem. Monroe contacted the impacted residents previously, and now under administrative order from DEP, they must provide immediate relief, testing and mitigation to those nearby residents. Please know that I am on top of it, and we will get to the bottom of the cause and the solution. If you live in the vicinity of the storage facility and need contact information for Monroe or DEP, please call my office. We will help you get the answers you need.
