At 1:18 in the morning January 5, 2022, I received a text from a close friend who was just robbed on the streets of Philadelphia. The criminal recognized him in a nearby restaurant and attacked when he walked outside. The assailant clearly indicated that he had a gun.

Craig Williams (R-Delaware/Chester) secured $1.5 million in state funding for a pilot project to hire additional prosecutors for the district attorney’s offices in Delaware and Philadelphia counties. These prosecutors would be assigned as special assistant United States attorneys (SAUSAs) to work directly with the U.S. Department of Justice, United States Attorney’s Office in the Eastern District of Pennsylvania for the sole purpose of federally prosecuting gun crimes in the region under Project Safe Neighborhoods (PSN).
